National Science Day celebration (28th February 2022)
Mural Painting
We celebrated the National Science Day with mural painting at both the Mall Road and the Mathura Road campuses. Scientists, old and young, dabbled in a kaleidoscope of colors to depict the idea of what science means to them.

Open Day at Mathura Road
After two long years of online events, we opened our gates for an on-campus (Mathura Road) visit by Zoology undergraduates from S.S.V. College, Hapur, UP. 50 students dressed in their blue and white uniforms waded their way through our mini-museum in the Spine, zebrafish and electron microscope facilities. They listened, enraptured by Kumardeep Chaudhary’s description of big data analytics in biological sciences.

Open Days (23rd – 24th March 2022)
We organized back-to-back open days this time. The on-campus open day, on 23rd March, saw 50 school students from Greater Noida World School visit our Mathura Road campus. With the institutional tour, they also got to perform a hands-on activity, wherein they compared the efficiency of DNA isolation using house-hold items vs lab reagents.
The virtual open day on 24th March was attended by 5 different schools. These students got to see the Mall Road campus virtually, and experience how cognitive behaviour assessment is performed in mice along with a fun hands-on session of DNA isolation that they carried out with us from their homes.
