Time and time again Time hurts skin deep Sometimes stands still As if there's no way out. But then Time comes and Calms the worrying hearts. Time is my constant complain Time is my remorseful friend. Time forever constraints me And races ahead like an enemy. It’s a straitjacket that suffocates me Yet Time is the one that resuscitates. Even if its not on our side It frees us from the constants.
The vigorous force that I try to yield Yet it slips off my hands like sand grains. And runs free without obstacles, Throwing obstacles on its way. Time keeps mocking me But it keeps soothing me And says it would not come again So, in truth, bind yourself to me. But I’m also in free reign Trying not to be grasped by Time Or slip and fall in its agony. It occasionally harbors threats Yet simultaneously comforts me. It heals dire open wounds Until fresh ones open again. And thus Time plays it’s cycle Churning out again and again.
