Date: 8th September 2022, 10 am – 4 pm

In collaboration with KAMP (an initiative of CSIR-NIScPr and M/S Nysa Communications Pvt Ltd), an open day was organized for 85 students that visited our Mathura Road campus from various schools across the country. They got to tour the institute along with our science ambassadors visiting various facilities, and performing hands-on activity followed by an interactive session with Dr. Beena Pillai.

The 10th IGIB Appreciation Day was celebrated this year with a mix of science and art. Dr. N. Kalaiselvi,CSIR DG; Dr. Rajesh Gokhale, DBT Secretary and former IGIB Director; and Natural Science Specialist at UNESCO Dr. Benno Böer visited the Mathura Road campus and interacted with the staff and students. A colorful amalgamation of art, craft, dance and food was next witnessed in the lawns of the campus. The day ended with cultural performances by students and faculties.

Beyond Research Webinar Series

Lab@Home Exhibit at CCMB Open Day (26th Sep)

Outreach team visited CCMB to participate in the CSIR Foundation day celebrations with Lab@Home kits. A day-long interaction happened with schools, colleges and the general public creating awareness about how DNA unites us all.

Hindi Pakhwada (16th Sep – 29th Sep)

This 15 day long celebration of Hindi language included competitions and Hindi poetry recitation. This issue of Pulse features a poem by Prachi Singh has shared her poem dedicated to Hindi language. (Pls add the link for the poem.)
