IGIB welcomes new Director (9th December 2022)
Dr. Souvik Maiti took charge as the new Director of IGIB. Dr. Maiti has been working at the institute since 2002. He is currently a Chief Scientist at the institute and his research work is at the interface of Biology and Chemistry.

Wednesday Seminar Series
The weekly seminars by PhD students were re-commenced from 21st December 2022.
The major goal of this seminar series is to help PhD students narrate the story of their research work in front of a large audience. In addition to nurturing the communication skills of the young researchers, it aims to provide a platform to acquaint the researchers with the projects that they are not involved in for the scientific discussions to continue outside the yearly DAC meetings.
