IISF 2023 Curtain Raiser
Students from KV Andrews Ganj visited CSIR-IGIB, Mathura Road campus for half a day on 15th of December. They learnt about applications of genomics and usage of model organisms to study development and diseases.
Students and teachers from an NGO – Sunshine and Society enjoyed learning science using brain cap etc.Â
Symposium on Droplets and Condensates in Biological Systems
A one day symposium was conducted at CSIR-IGIB, Mathura Road on 11th December with a day full of interesting lectures by wonderful speakers.Â
New Year Party 2024
To bid a joyous good bye to 2023 and enter 2024 with joy, laughter and endless possibilities, CSIR- IGIB celebrated New Year Party 2024 on 29th December. The evening was full of music, dance, game and snacks.Â
Skill Training Program
A 30 day advanced training course in Genomics and Molecular Technologies was organised from 1st to 30th November under CSIR integrated skill initiative activities. The course structure included end to end Whole Genome Sequencing protocol from sample collection and DNA extraction to data analysis and visualisation which was then followed by mentorship session.
Phenome India CSIR Health Cohort Knowledgebase
7th December 2023 marked the beginning of first phase of testing for the Phenome India CSIR Health Cohort Knowledgebase. It continued at mall road campus till 11th of December, following which sample collection at various other places is on-going.This is a unique health program for CSIR employees and pensioner along with their spouses.
