PhD batch 2022 organized Aarohan 2024 where passion meets play. Both intra and inter institute indoor and outdoor games had a huge participation. CRRI staff and students are also a part of the events. Cheering echoes. 

Meeting in the field of Ayurgenomics

CSIR IGIB welcomed WHO delegates on January 10th for a closed door meeting led by Dr. Bhavana Prasher on the overview of the integrative multi-omic research work in the field of Ayurgenomics. After a fruitful discussion, the delegates visited numerous facilities in the institute. It was a wonderful opportunity for discussing exciting research happening in the field.

Guest talk by Prof. Shubha Tole 

Prof. Shubha Tole, Dean at TIFR Mumbai delivered a talk on “How to build a Hippocampus?” on 29th January. The insightful talk was followed by a Student Interaction with the Professor, providing students with an opportunity to discuss and gain insights from her extensive experience. 

Guest Talk by Dr. Ashish Goyal

Dr. Ashish Goyal from German Cancer Research Center in Germany delivered a talk on 24th January about “Epigenetic Inhibitors Induced ERV Derived Neoantigens – A new class of Cancer Immunotherapy”. It was really an informative talk followed by interactive discussion.

Guest Talk by Mr. Bryan N. Hoglund

The Director of NGS, Business solutions, Twist Bioscience, Bryan N. Hoglund delivered an exciting talk on 16th January about the “The Complete Twist Ecosystem of multi omics endless possibilities”. The talk showcased Twist’s solutions, illustrating their effectiveness in various applications.

Dr. Saba Parvez from University of Utah delivered an insightful talk on 10th January about “CRISPR- based tools for high- throughput functional genetics in whole animals”. 

Guest talk by Dr. DJ Nag

The president of Innovaito LLC – an Intellectual Property Strategy think Tank, delivered an exciting talk on “The Secret of the Unicorn: Intellectual Property ”. The talk was followed by a long interactive discussion over tea.
